Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, I earned my bachelor’s in marketing from the University of Tennessee in 2018. Shortly after, I moved to Portland, Oregon, where I worked for a full-service PR agency and later as a marketing specialist at a local pet food company.

Today, my family and I call Nampa, Idaho home. We have two beautiful daughters (4 and 2) and one amazing foster daughter (12). I work for an international nonprofit as a writer, where I get to tell people about Jesus and travel the world to capture stories. It’s amazing. Next up on my travel list? We’re debating between Nigeria and Indonesia.

I love the work I get to do, but I also love helping other organizations, too.

Let’s connect via email or grab a coffee to discuss how I can get your thoughts onto paper (but really, a computer). I would love to partner with you.

my favorite part?

Telling stories

I’ve done all types of writing, from press releases for technology clients to punchy product descriptions for consumer-facing businesses. You name it, I’ve done it. But over the years, I’ve realized that my favorite type of writing is telling stories. Don’t get me wrong, writing an article for a magazine (which I’ve done!) is super fun, but so are the little stories that we can implement throughout your website or in your monthly newsletter.

When you’re so focused on your own business, it can be hard to find the stories right in front of you. That’s where I come in—let’s find your compelling stories and tell them well!

“The role of a writer is not to say what we can all day, but what we are unable to say.”

—Anaïs Nin
